The Senior Snowplow program is available for Lafayette Township residents aged 65 or older and/or disabled to qualified seniors (65 and up) who meet the income guidelines. This program allows residents to have their driveway plowed once in a 24-hour period for emergency purposes only and after a snowfall of 3 inches or more. The application process is an annual process, therefore; even if an individual qualified in the past they must still apply for the current season.
Applications may be made by filling out the Senior Snowplow Application AND bringing the necessary proof of annual income paperwork to the Administration office. Office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those applying must meet the following requirements:
- Must be the owner of the single-family dwelling and sixty-five (65) years or older or disabled. A Disabled Person as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. 42 U.S.C. 12102.
- Must be occupying the home at the time of service. The program is not to be used to provide the illusion of occupancy while on vacation.
